Mining Ticket FAQs

Whilst many qualifications may last for long periods of time, most mine sites and construction projects require a VOC every 2 years.

The process includes both a theory component with a test and a practical component where students operate the machine. Depending on the complexity of the equipment and the task, training can take anywhere from 2 hours to a full day or longer.

Onsite training by Raines Resources provides real working conditions in the same machinery they’ll be operating in day-to-day. This gives them practical and contextual experience and a clear understanding of their role in the operation of your specific site.

Plus, onsite training is more cost-effective than sending your workers to an RTO and paying for travel and accommodation, plus wages/time in leu, Super as well as the course cost.
